Cleaning robotics startup Jingji Intelligent raises tens of millions of RMB in seed funding

Shanghai-based cleaning robotics startup Jingji Intelligent has raised tens of millions of RMB in seed funding from Haowen Tianshu Robotics and Shanghai Lanyun Industrial Development. The financing, disclosed on October 20, comes about a month after the company’s establishment in September.

Jingji focuses on cleaning vertical surfaces, countertops and sanitary fixtures, applying force control, machine vision and precision actuation techniques from medical robotics. The company plans to keep research and development and its supply chain in China while targeting overseas customers. It has established partnerships in Australia, Spain, Singapore and Vietnam, and is moving into product validation following the definition of its technical approach and product architecture.
