Uniswap Launches On-Chain Fee Conversion Tool TJAR, Robinhood Is the First to Adopt It
TechFlow reports that on November 1, according to an official announcement from Uniswap, Uniswap has launched the on-chain fee conversion framework TJAR, which allows applications to automatically convert collected fees in multiple tokens into designated tokens without needing to build complex cross-token swap infrastructure themselves. Currently, TJAR is live on 7 blockchains. TJAR employs a Token Jar mechanism, allowing applications to deposit fees from various tokens into a smart contract. Searchers compete to execute the swaps, with applications ultimately receiving their fees in designated tokens such as USDC. Originally developed for Uniswap protocol fee conversion, the framework processed over $15.3 million in swap volume last month. Uniswap stated that Robinhood has implemented TJAR via the Uniswap API across multiple supported blockchains, converting collected fees into USDC and USDG. The framework is now open to other applications and developer teams.
